Biography

Professor Dr. Hafsa Jamshaid is Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Textile Engineering at National Textile University, Faisalabad. With more than two decades in engineering education, her work connects textile research, teaching and collaboration with industry.

She holds a PhD in Textile Techniques and Materials Engineering from the Technical University of Liberec, Czech Republic, and qualifications in Textile Engineering and Engineering Management from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. Her research interests include protective textiles, fabric structures, composites, sustainability and circularity.

Hafsa teaches and supervises research across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Her professional interests include curriculum development, engineering standards, sustainable innovation and mentoring future engineers, particularly women entering science and engineering.
